France, along with Britain and Germany, recently put forward a resolution against Iran at the U.N. nuclear watchdog’s Board of Governors over its nuclear program. Despite initial reservations from the United States, the resolution was eventually supported, with Washington expressing concerns about provoking Iran ahead of the upcoming presidential election in November. This highlights the delicate balance needed in international efforts to address Iran’s actions while considering broader geopolitical implications.
